Young Theatre Scoop 5 Awards in Festival

On October 21st 2021 I thoroughly enjoyed performing in the Chorus for a play called Kathryn Howard.

Young Theatre, based out of Beaconsfield in the UK, managed to bag 5 pieces of silverware for the excellent production of Kathryn Howard at Runnymede and Spelthorne Drama Festival directed by Helen Sendall and written by Catherine Julia Hiscock

One of the awards was for our chorus performance 🙂

It was adjudicated by Paul Fowler, GODA, SASDA and he gave us some good critique.

Here’s a photo of me with the whole cast. I’m on the far right.

The Kathryn Howard Cast with Celeste Dadd

Kathryn Howard Synopsis

A young woman on trial.

Locked within her rooms, whilst men investigate their conduct, the young queen and her ladies await the interrogations they know will come.

Katheryn Howard is a poignant examination of power, truth and blame set against the closeted, opposing confines of the Tudor court.

An all-female cast present an intense and haunting portrayal of the final days of seventeen year old Queen Katheryn, the fifth wife of King Henry VIII.

Talking about you but mainly about me”
